Mehmet is a Platform Architect at Roche and part of the Roche Data Analytics Platform Team. Continuing on his past experience on migrating Data Solutions to Cloud (primarily on AWS), his recent focus in the last 1,5 year shifted to Data Mesh on Snowflake, building a Self-Serve Data Platform and enabling Teams from various business domains at Roche to create and publish their Data Products. During this journey he got extensive experience with Data Engineering on Snowflake, orchestrating Data Pipelines via DataOps.live and combining additional services to complete an E2E Data Product Provisioning Journey.

Moreover, Mehmet is a passionate “Foodie” and during the pandemic shifted also his personal interest to “more” self-cooking. He possesses a MSc. in Management Information Systems from the University of Paderborn and is currently based in Germany.
