Professor in the Department of Electronics at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Professionally, he deals with mathematical modelling in medicine and biology, stochastic processes, complex networks and dynamic systems. A graduate of the Humboldt University in Berlin, he received his doctorate at the University of Bielefeld.
