Luis Dias is a Lead Data Scientist at TUI, specializing in leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance travel experiences. He holds a PhD and is an invited lecturer in both a master’s program and a post-graduation course, sharing his expertise in AI and data science with the next generation of professionals. At TUI, he is working and leading initiatives that integrate cutting-edge AI solutions into business processes, including the development of a pricing margin brain and an AI travel assistant for the UK market. His work focuses on practical applications of AI, with recently a particular interest in the trade-offs between fine-tuning and prompt engineering for AI agents.
