Kamil Konikiewicz
At Allegro, he is responsible for the Data Science area, where he implements machine learning projects for commercial, marketing, logistics or advertising teams, among others. Whether he uses classical predictive modeling methods or contextual embeddings or computer vision techniques in them, he always focuses on maximizing the business impact. This is the approach he tries to promote in his speeches and presentations.
He has 18 years of experience gained from nearly 50 projects for domestic and foreign companies in the e-commerce, telecommunications, banking and energy sectors. He started his career at SAS, traversing from the role of data analyst to regional analytics team leader (Central Europe and Middle East). He went on to lead the AI Development Office at PKO Bank Polski, where he was responsible for the implementation of a voice assistant across digital and telephone channels, as well as projects involving the use of cognitive techniques - such as the automation of customer correspondence processing, document AI, visual verification support, and even the programming of physical robots.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Sciences at Warsaw University of Technology, majoring in Mathematics.
Privately, he is interested in climbing and mountain running.
